Questions that are frequently asked by hunters that travel to the shores of Southern Africa.

Where will I be met?

Your Professional Hunter will meet you at OR Tambo International Airport in the arrivals lounge. Your guide will take care of you from the time we first meet at the airport until you depart from South Africa.

Do you offer both bow and rifle hunting safaris?

Yes, we offer both bow and rifle hunting safaris. We have concessions that are dedicated to bow hunting, and other concessions solely dedicated to rifle hunting.

If I do not wish to bring my own rifles, can you provide rifles and at what costs?

You are welcome to hunt with one of our rifles, contact us for more information and cost.

What are the Visa Requirements for Hunting in South Africa?

Hunters from the USA and certain European countries do no need to apply for a visa for your South African Hunting Safari. Please contact the South African Embassy’s website to confirm visa requirements as it may change from time to time.

How experienced are your Professional Hunters?

All our PH’s have years of hunting experience and are licensed for plains game and Big Five hunting, The hunting requirements of the client determine the Professional Hunter assigned.

Are your hunting camps comfortable enough to bring my family?

All our camps are very comfortable, and the entire family can relax in camp or alternatively we can arrange for them to partake in a range of activities and tours, at an additional cost.  If you are traveling with children under the age of 18, you need to have an unabridged birth certificate with you. If the unabridged birth certificate of the minor cannot be produced the minor will not be allowed entry to South Africa. Also make sure that you have at least two open pages in the back of your passport. Your passport needs to be valid for at least six (6) months after your departure date from South Africa.

How will I pay for my safari?

With a customized hunt, a minimum deposit of $ 1 000.00 must be paid to secure your booking.

Daily Rates must be paid in full 30 days prior to commencement of the hunt.

Trophy fees are payable on the completion of the hunt.

We accept cash or any major credit card, or electronic transfer.

What will be the cost of taxidermy work / dipping and packaging of raw trophies?

We work closely with Trophy Solutions for the mounting of trophies and raw preparation in South Africa. We recommend viewing their website for detailed information concerning the relevant services pertaining to your hunting needs.
