Dawie Kemp is a dynamic man with almost 25 years’ experience as a Professional Hunter and has an exceptional passion for Africa. Dawie was raised in the Bushveld, and this is where his love for the African Wildlife evolved. He has been travelling & hunting in Africa all his live. He makes it his priority to ensure that every client who chooses him as his outfitter and guide, experiences Africa to the fullest, going home with the wish that they could stay a little while longer. He is known for his skills in the bush and his knowledge of the bush will make you feel quite at ease with your new surroundings. Dawie is married to Leandri and has 3 children with whom he shares his passion for this beautiful country.

Experience and wisdom come with grey hair – Awie is a true reflection of a successful and well-experienced Professional Hunter and Hunting Outfitter. He has an intimate knowledge of fauna and flora of southern Africa. In his career Awie has conducted hunts throughout Southern Africa. A qualified Master Measurer, The 1996 Professional Hunters Association of South Africa’s award winner as Professional Hunter of the Year, and a well-loved and dedicated hunting companion.
He is married to Elmarí, has 5 children, 4 in-laws and 7 grandchildren. His love of nature has been passed down to all his children, and hunting runs in their veins, therefore it is not surprising that all the family members are avid hunters.
